The pedal does not work with the Pfaff 7550 even though it was listed as a machine it works with.

I have a Pfaff sewing machine and the foot has been spotty for the last several years. I didn’t even imagine that I could buy one of these on Amazon until I just saw in passing. I went ahead and ordered it and it has been amazing. I wish I had done this a long time ago.

I didn’t realize this pedal wasn’t compatible with my simplicity machine. I purchased it because it looks just like the pedal I lost and I couldn’t find another one online that had the right plug shape. It plugged in, but I kept getting some weird error message when I pushed down on the pedal. I think it would’ve worked if my machine was compatible, but I ended up returning and getting a new machine, so if you have a simplicity machine, this pedal probably won’t work for you.

It works just fine on my ol’ faithful Pfaff. So glad to be able to keep sewing on her after 36 years reliable service :)
