The best tie down I have used so far, I was struggling to get the correct tie down for my roof top box, there are perfect, very versatile.

I've used a lot of different products over the years hauling motorcycles to the trails and the track. I bought a Canoe and needed some new straps and went with these because ratchet straps can get too tight. The system is a little complicated until you get it figured out but once you have it, it's amazing. Having the ability to put the buckle wherever you want it is great for getting it just right. Being able to place it gives you the ability to set it up so you have the best mechanical advantage when cinching it up. My only two complaints are the fact that one of the rubber pads fell off the first time I used it. Not an issue since I'd put the buckle where it wasn't contacting the canoe, and the canoe is old so I wasn't worried anyway. Second is curious that the longer version is cheaper to buy than the shorter version. I bought the long one and then cut it to the length I needed and melted the ends and now it's perfect.

Seemed like a goofy consumerist purchase given anyone can tie something down, but I am super pleased with it. Appears to be high quality and should last many several years (I purchased to replace another cam strap that broke after two years). Revolutionized securing down lumber or a canopy tent to my roof rack, especially when I don't have somebody on the other side of the car to toss the loose end back to me. Doesn't require much effort to cinch really tight. Not hard to replicate with a rope and trucker's hitch, but worth it for anyone without a fondness for knots but who has to regularly lash down a canoe.

I am very frequently using some sort of method to secure large and small items in the bed of my truck. Maybe 2-3 times a week. Just about every time I do so I think to my self as The hooks are falling out of position, or my tie downs are all tangled, that there had to be something out there that makes this process somewhat faster and simpler.I FOUND IT with these simple but amazing tie downs.If your familiar with cam buckles then maybe you’ve been frustrated at the fact that you are always have to find a way to cinch/tighten the straps because to tighten a strap with a normal cam buckle, the strap has to be pulled opposite of you leverage.With these you always are pulling towards you giving you 100 control of how tight you want you load to be.I show these to just about anyone who will listen to me. I freakin love these things and just want to go tie random things down for fun cuz of how much I appreciate the design of how these operate.If you use some sort of strap,rope,or bungie on frequent basis, then do yourself a favor and get a couple of these and you’ll be wondering where they’ve been all your life. Yes, there that great!!!!!
