Okay, I have been using Niterider since 1999 for my night time Mountain Bike trail lighting...I am currently using the Pro 3600 Enduro on my handlebars and the Lumina 1200 Boost atop my helmet...The Lumina 2500 was on sale and I am so happy with the Lumina 1200 Boost I thought this Lumina 2500 would be the bomb...Well, I reret buying the Lumina 2500...Yeah, it emits a bright light but it is a different color compared to any other Niterider light I use...Instead of a bright white light it emits a kind of greenish tinted light...When using the Lumina 2500 on my handlebars in combination with my 1200 Boost on top of my helmet, the two colors of light are awful...I am keeping the Lumina 2500 for hiking in my backpack so at least its going to good use...I don't recommend this light for mountain bike at night...

This thing is pretty awesome. It's super bright but the battery runs down somewhat quick. Other than that I love it.

I commute daily in Portland Oregon. Lots of bad weather riding, rain and dark this time of year. My commute is 16 miles each way. I have been running the Lumina 1100 and 1800 for years. My 1800 got water logged and failed so I replaced it with the "New" version. This light is bright!! It has a very spot beam and is more yellow than the previous lumina lights that nite rider offers. However when it comes to the battery life its attrocious. Running it on the medium (Green) lumen setting I was only able to get a little over an hour of run time which is nowhere close to advertised run times. On the Blue setting it was closer to 30 minutes and the RED was 15 tops. The mount on these lights are poorly designed. With the rubber isolator it makes the beam jump all over the place and the plastic on plastic is not tight so the light vibrates audibly. I have been using a rubber band on the light for years until I did the K Edge mount. There are far better lights out there for the money.Returned product
