I ordered the extensions to the north states baby gate to fit across my stairway, but I am unable to use them. Where they attach to the gate, the holes for the pegs do not line up. It looks as if it was assembled wrong.

The first one I older was completely damaged and I had to contact amazon to receive a replacement, the replacement was perfect.If I need anymore I will definitely order more from here!

Needed this to fit the gate into a hallway. Because the metal pins are short on one side, this extension made the gate as a whole too wobbly, even under a lot of tension. In order to avoid total gate failure, we had to reinforce the joints with metal brackets and zipties. You might also fix the problem by coming up with your own longer replacement for the metal pins.

I was pleased to find that this was a high quality gate, nice weight & very easy to install. Better yet, very easy to open & close. Now if I could just get my husband to remember to keep it closed.
