I am really happy I bought these cork-backed placemats. I have a very old heritage dining table, and I wanted to make sure I would not chance leaving heat or burn marks on it from hot dishes. I also wanted to find placemats that featured a classic red and white colour palette, and a nostalgic feel. These do the job perfectly! I have already used them multiple times with guests over for dinner, and they have protected my table nicely, and my guests commented on how nice they look, too. I would totally recommend them!

The "Paris Je t'Aime" placemats are really cute in person, better than I expected! They are very nice quality, and fit nicely on our round table. They wipe off with a cloth. The only caution I would say is don't wash them under the faucet. We did this with the first one, and while it still looks great, there is a barely perceptible water stain around the border. Not enough to see, but might be worse if totally submerged.

These are great placemats - they wipe off easily and are very durable. I use them in the center of the table to put hot serving dishes on, including pots, casserole dishes, etc. straight from the stove or oven. The heat has not altered them at all. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Outstanding quality. Thick and will be durable for a long time. Like the neutral but earthy pattern. Will buy another set in a different pattern from this company and will be a good gift item for friends and family.
