Well made and the blend knob is a bonus and allows for much better control over the compression. The second setting seems to be full on compression and also louder than the first setting and can be used as a bit of a boost.

UPDATE: The replacement pedal I received sounds excellent, with nice-sounding compression and low noise. The blend control makes this compressor one of the best values as far as the newer generation of "cheap" pedals go. I'm probably in the minority, but I wish there was a larger/normal sized enclosure option with a battery compartment. Sometimes it's just nice to grab a couple simple pedals and head to a jam.----------OLD REVIEW: My Sculpture Mini Compressor did not work at all. Even when bypassed, no signal would pass through the pedal. I am returning the pedal.
