Why Is Destructive Chewing a Problem?
Dogs have definite preferences when it comes to items they enjoy chewing: brand-new things, expensive things, irreplaceable things, and dangerous things that could hurt them seem to always be at the top of their list. Sadly, many dogs, including approximately 31 percent of shelter dogs are given up by their families due to problem behaviors, and destructive chewing is one of the most commonly reported. Although you may never know exactly why your dog has suddenly decided to destroy your laptop, cell phone, and every remote in the house, it may comfort you to know that there is no shortage of possible reasons:
- Attention seeking: If your dog starts to chew on inappropriate objects while in your presence, it may be a bid for your attention.
- Boredom: Dogs are highly intelligent animals who need things to do. If left alone all day, even when they don’t suffer separation anxiety, they will create their own fun with your precious items.

This product is the ONLY chew toy I have found that lasts more than 10 minutes for my Bull Terrier. She usually takes at least 6 months of intermittent chewing to decimate each of the Nylabone Classic Twin Pack Power Chew Flavored Durable Dog Chew Toys. This makes them very economical and safe! I have tried many other so called "Power Chew " toys, that do NOT last past the first hour.

100% recomendable, tengo un boxer y siempre había tenido ese problema de que destruía todos los juguetes que le daba pero estos son totalmente diferentes, ciertamente se ven medio masticados los huesos pero ninguno se ha roto y a mi perro le encantan

Cuando una empresa te dice tamaño mediano te imaginas algo apropiado para un perro mediano, pero les recomiendo antes de comprar primero checar su imágen infomativa de la Nylabone, ahí te das cuenta que un tamaño XL es apenas apropiado.Sin embargo, ni los "virtually indestructible" ni los "Kong" le llegan a los talones de dureza, sabor, comfort y real durabilidad para la manfibula perruna que lo ofrecido por la Nylabone. Sumamemte recomendable.

Mis perros amaron estos huesos, llegaron en perfecto estado, los usamos para un mix de maltés y un mix de pitbull y les dan batalla, ya desde hace un año somos seguidoras de la marca, juguetes durables.

A mis gordas les encantaron, buscare otros con distinto sabor pero de la misma marca, las mantiene entretenidas un buen rato. Si son de mandíbula muy fuerte este producto es excelente.

Es un buen juguete, aunque creo que esta versión es muy dura, a pesar de que dice “médium”. Aun así a mi perro le gustó y se la pasa masticándolos.

Desafortunadamente no lei que eran para mordidas mas intensas, por lo que son muy duros y a mis perros parecen no llamarles la atencion. Sin embargo el producto se siente de excelente calidad y venia bien empacado.

Unsere Hunde haben verschieden auf die Nylabone Knochen reagiert: Die verfressene Terrierhündin hat ihn wie erwartet sofort angenommen und bearbeitet. Immer wieder holt sie ihn, trägt ihn herum und kaut darauf. Die Schäferhündin ist allgemein auch gegenüber unbekanntem Futter eher skeptisch und nimmt es erst nach genauer "Überprüfung" an. Sie hat den (größeren) Nylabone Knochen überhaupt nicht beachtet und wir mussten zu einem Trick greifen um ihr Interesse zu wecken: Wir haben mit der Bohrmaschine an beiden Enden ein Loch durch den Knochen gebohrt und diese Löcher mit Leberwurst gefüllt. Nach dem Ausschlecken hat sie dann weiterhin den Knochen bearbeitet. Für uns Menschen, die wir sonst eigentlich nur natürliche Kauartikel verfüttert haben, ist der Nylabone etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Er fühlt sich tatsächlich an wie Hartplastik und ist sehr schwer. Nach dem Bekauen bilden sich aufgebogene Spitzen und "Riefen" auf dem Knochen. Das stellt aber keinen Mangel dar, wir hier in manchen Rezensionen zu den Nylabone Knochen zu lesen ist, sondern ist vom Hersteller so gewollt, die Spitzen sollen wie kleine Bürstchen die Zahnoberfläche reinigen. Das Abkauen und Verschlucken solch kleiner Spitzen ist ungefährlich, sie verlassen den Hund auf natürlichem Weg.. Auch wenn sich die Spitzen für menschliche Finger nicht sehr angenehm anfühlen, scheinen sie den Hunden nichts auszumachen, es hat sich auch noch keiner damit am Zahnfleisch verletzt, wie manche anderen Käufer es in den Rezensionen befürchtet hatten. Alles in allem ein sehr "amerikanisches Produkt" das uns anfangs auch eher unnatürlich vorkam, aber es erfüllt seinen Zweck und schlägt in der Haltbarkeit alle von uns bisher verwendeten natürlichen Kauartikel. Von uns gibt es eine Kaufempfehlung!

I much prefer to have these Nylabone bones for my 5 Labradors than any other make purely because of the quality of the product! Nylabone is so much sturdier than other makes. When it says it can last, it does! I have tried other brands, none have matched the quality of Nylabone for the way it stands up t being chewed & chomped on by 5 Labradors!Nylabones say that when dogs are chewing on these anything coming off the size of a grain of rice should pass through the dogs system naturally. I haven't seen anything come off these yet, but then would I notice a bit the size of a grain of rice? I don't rifle through their poo to find out either! I use a coal shovel to pick it up in the garden & haven't seen anything suspicious out there. I haven't seen my chewer, getting chunks off & she's the most likely 1 to cause any real damage!I want a bone toy that the dogs can munch on that will occupy them for an hour or so without the risk that it'll break off & get stuck in them somewhere causing a blockage. I've used Nylabones for years with no problem, as long as you're aware of what your dog can do/is capable of & check the bones after they've used them in case they've managed to split the sides. I've actually still got 1 of the 3 bone puppy pack from 7 years ago that are still being played with! That's why I bought this 3 bone small pack because although I've got 2 medium & 3 large Labradors, they really love these small bones. Especially when the small bones are used with their paddling pool in the summer. Out of all their toys, they'd all rather retrieve these small bones from the paddling pool over anything else. Normally they sit & wait for their name to be called to go & retrieve what I just threw in, but if I just threw in a small bone they all want to go get it. As I only had 3 up to now, it wasn't fair, especially when 1 ran indoors to hide his for later! Now I've a spare for when I look after my friends Lab as she loves these small bones (especially retrieving them from the paddling pool) too! Got them at a reduced price so very happy indeed. Well worth the money at full price, a fantastic bargain in a sale!
