Have now hiked about 200 miles in this shoe. Overall very comfortable, even after 10 plus mile hikes. Love the large tow box. Fits my orthotics well. Much lighter than I expected, particularly compared to my ankle height boots. Excellent water resistance.Main concern- soles are very slippery on rocks or rocky trails during and after rainfall. I never 100 percent trusted the grip so became mindful of where and how I stepped. I never had this experience with other hiking boots, and I have had many over the past 40 years. I am hoping the company figures out how to mitigate this because I sure do like these boots.

About three years ago I started hiking 5-8 miles a day. While I found the Salomon UltraX shoes comfortable at first, they just weren’t designed or built for heavy use. They’re more of urban /weekend warrior hikers. The Oboz Bridget’s are heavy and took some getting used to. I have no idea how many hundred of miles I have in these shoes, through a variety of harsh wet muddy hot snowy conditions but they are still very comfortable and show little use. I highly recommend and hope this model stays around for years to come

I was pretty pumped about getting these on Amazon, but ended up returning them and buying direct from the company…in a wide size. I have many shoes that are not wide, but if you’re on the fence and Amazon’s seller doesn’t have it, go direct with Oboz. Price is comparable. Not that comfortable right out of the box either, but nothing usually is. And the shadow color does have a green tint to it, so plan accordingly if that’s an issue. Otherwise, I do recommend this shoe. It’s a quality built product that will take some abuse.

I've worn these shoes for 2 months now and absolutely love them. Great quality and fit. I've worn merells and keens previously. The Merrells came apart very quickly in the first few months. The keens lasted nearly 2 years and were comfortable but not as supportive as these Oboz. For those that don't know these are made in the USA. That was a selling point for me as I would rather support the small US company then Chinese offshore. I've worn these outdoors primarily on dirt and rock and some concrete. They performed great on all surfaces. They insulate really well while worn on a airport tarmac.-great fit with NO break in at all-ton of support and very cushy outsole-these feel good enough to run in-waterproof, I tested them a few times this fire seasonONLY negative: The insoles have little holes in them for breathability but some of the holes don't go all the way thru. If you work on sandy surfaces dirt and sand will get down into the shoe and fill those holes. You will always have to pull the insole out and shake it out. Not a huge deal but some some.
