After over twenty years of faithful service, my Liftmaster garage door opener stopped working. I could hear the motor, but noticed the long screw shaft was not turning. So I got a ladder and took a closer look at where the motor shaft mates to the screw shaft and discovered that the original coupling that connects those two components had broken.Without much trouble, I was able to replace the broken coupling with this new one (it fit perfectly) and the opener is once again working like a champ. Purchased two so I could have a spare on the shelf should this problem ever happen again. If the new coupling lasts as long as the original, I'll be super happy!
