Perfect for me, exactly what I was looking for! It’s heavy duty and easily punches you my stack of papers for school so I can try to sort them into a binder. No complaints !

Excelente perforadora, buen cuerpo, buen tamaño.Le caben unas 20 hojas. Si lo quieres hacer más sobrado con unas 15 funciona muy bien

I bought this 3 hole punch in 2014 after I was tired of dealing with our old, squeaky one that barely could punch a hole all the way through. I didn't just want any old 3 hole puncher though. I wanted something that was solid metal and would last me for another three decades like my last puncher that I'm pretty sure my dad used in college. I opted for this Officemate one 3 years and boy am I glad I did.First, I home school so my paper punching needs are EXTENSIVE. Everything my son does gets hole punched and placed into a portfolio of his work. Even on sick days I punch the letter or visit summary from the doctor and stick it in so I can document his sick days. My point is that our family simply cannot make do with a crappy 3 hole punch. This one has been FANTASTIC and after 3 years it still looks and functions as if it is brand new. It is HEAVY solid metal everywhere except for the punch catch tray, which is a very durable, thick plastic. The circular logo on the thick metal handle is rubberized. Nothing about this punch is flimsy or cheap in any way.* THE COOLEST FEATURE *The hole punch has a solid metal 'paper stop' at one end that you can flip up to give you a nice edge to line up all your papers so each stack you punch has the holes in the same place. That is great. However the metal paper stop is on a rotating rivet so you can swing it down out of the way and punch holes all along any sized sheet of paper. This is handy if you want to do really creative laced binding on a school art project but you need to punch six, nine or twelve holes and not just three. (Again, you can see how this comes in handy for home school projects.)To Empty the Tray:The blackish navy blue thick edge on the punch is actually the tray drawer that slides out and lets you empty all the paper circles. It holds a TON. Like a year's worth of punches. When you are ready to empty, hold it upside down and open the tray door. It is really simple and I love the design. The tray NEVER comes off or opens on its own or by accident. NEVER. It is actually hard to open when the punch is upright. When you turn it upside down, the tray will slide out more easily and feels natural. I thought this was a nice design feature. Even with all the punching I do, I still only empty the thing once a year. The blades are still sharp and cut through stacks of card stock quickly. (It can do about 5 to 8 sheets of card stock at a time, depending on the weight of the stock you're using.)Since we're on the topic of office supplies, I also love this . Again, I have had it for several years and it has not mis-fired or failed me once. If I could go back to my college days, I wish I had invested in these tools and then had them for a lifetime instead of fiddling with stuff that didn't work.

I had given my girlfriend a hole punch that I have had for a while. It was constantly breaking as she tries to punch a lot of stuff all at once. This one can handle it just fine. Easily traps the paper circles and easy to empty.

I purchased this to bring to a workshop. I found it was easy for preparing documents and made fast work of hole-punching. The chip tray holds a lot of chips. It actually does work with up to 20 pages of standard office paper. It was easier to punch when there were only about 15 pages or so.Someone else thought it was so great that they took it home when I wasn't paying attention. While disappointed, I wasn't heartbroken because its a good price value.I'll probably replace it with the same one the next time I need to run a workshop.
