This works so far as a good reheating container for small portions of soups or grains and some meat or veggies, but I think it won't work well for cooking rice without having lumps. The silicone is nice and thick and has no odor or defects, so it fits nicely in my rice cooker without flopping or sagging on the edges or indents in the separate cups.

This nicely solves the problem of “burning” in my Instapot because I can add water under this that can flow around and through this without diluting the food I’m making. Previously I had figured out I could do the same thing by cooking in a bowl and putting the bowl, surrounded by water in the Instapot. This is the same concept, but is a lot easier to use than a bowl (which ends up being heavy and difficult to remove). Each of the 3 sections holds 540 ml, which is a little over 2 cups. Because this is small, it’ll also work in larger Instapots, but you’ll (obviously) be limited on how much you can cook at once.
