Nice hat/bag if you’re into anime and since my daughter is into all this stuff I got it for her and she just loves it.The bag is pretty big and the rope handle is pretty strong so no worries on it breaking.A bonus is that it also comes with a pin, key ring and another gift(I can’t recall what it is at the moment,sorry) my kid loves it so I like it and for the price I think it’s worth it.

My teenage son is a huge fan of Luffy and One Piece. He watches the anime, reads the manga, has the posters, even went as Chopper for Halloween. He thought this was great. However, the strawhat "backpack" looks more like a boho handbag. He has it hung up, but I've never seen it being worn out. He was actually more interested in the bag tags and keychains. Those went directly to his school backpack. So while I think the bag is cool, taking off a star because it's more like a weird purse than what it's supposed to be (if that makes sense).

I wasn't expecting the straps to be like an actual hat's, but it adds to the straw hat look which is an awesome detail. The strap is an incredibly thick rope that's easy to adjust and isn't uncomfortable on the neck as long as the bag isn't overweighted. The bag is a decent size, so it's convenient for regular outings to hold small snacks, chargers and a drink. The material overall is thick and durable, and it's tightly stitched together, so it'll last a very long time. The colors are vibrant and match Luffy's hat perfectly. I did need to reinforce the stitching for the ribbon, but only because our toddler got ahold of it and took it off. The bag also came with a straw hat pin and keychain that are just as well made and resemble the anime hat. The only thing that I wish the hat backpack had is a way to secure the opening since things can easily fall out when turned the wrong way.
