This is a basic open-front, open ports plastic case, with a stiff board and a thin foam layer under an imitation leather layer.The imitation leather looks and feels real. It almost had me fooled. I could peel up the corner by the camera a bit and see it is very thin, like .3mm. Then I poked it with a hot pin and it melted a tiny crater. I did it again and could see a teeny bit of molten plastic stringing up like black mozzarella. 0% leather, 100% plasticI’ve always used the full-cover waterproof box-style cases and have had complete protection. Zero damage from frequent mishaps. The problem is the cover over the camera lens gets rough and my photos suffer. I’ve been sliding the case open every time I want a clear photo, a tedious chore. This case solves that problem.It looks sharp. My phone looks like it’s dressed in formal wear, not like it’s dressed for tubing. That’s a plus.It feels fairly substantial. I’ve had this kind of case before with the densely padded back, and they’re a good compromise of raising durability without raising cost. It’s nothing fancy, tho. The weak point being how much the sides may get stretched out from repeated removal. It does collect dust in the crease and requires a more delicate cleansing than simply running it under water like I do with the waterproof cases. The glued panel does collect dust around the edge.This case has adequate bumpers on the sides and padding on the back, but nothing on the front. There is minimal foward-facing bumper. I applied a glass screen guard to the phone, and the edge is nearly flush with the surface now.This is not a maximum protection case. It’s good protection. It looks good, handles nicely, and does not obscure the camera. It’s great for safe indoor use. An improvement in function while retaining some safety. Preferred for when I plan to take frequent photos.The leather panel is ‘leather’. (100% plastic) The stitching on it is superficial. Purely decorative. It looks like it is stitched to the case, like a real leather case, but it is glued.For what it is, $15.80 is kind of high. It’s like a Five-Below case pretending to be bespoke sewn leather. It’s priced to compare favorably to the most inexpensive real leather with real sewing, but it’s just a decent molded plastic with different plastics glued on. The tolerance between the edge of the panel and the edge of the frame is very tight, and the placement is flawless so that helps give the impression of quality. The fit to the phone is exact.It’s not bad. It’s a fine case. It’s just a minimum amount of product for a maximum amount of money. A product calculated to fit the market. I feel like $20 would be the lowest I’d see real leather, so this is priced competitively to 80% of that, while being insignificantly different in substance from Five Below cases. Cases for old phones generally go way down in price.I thought I was getting real leather. I should read more closely.I shouldn’t blame myself for being mistaken, details in the product description can become lost in translation.

I have been looking for a case for my iPhone SE for quite awhile, thinking that maybe I was behind the times with an "older" phone. Then I found this ONES phone case, and it exceeded what I could have hoped for! It has a sleek look to it, and I'll take leather (real or not) over plastic and rubber any day. But what I really like about this case is that it doesn't encase my phone so much that I can't plug certain chargers into it. This case can accommodate even my portable charger that I sometimes keep in my purse (you know, for those evenings you go out only to find that your phone is at 35%). This case is good quality and has class. It is a very, very good value at this price!
