Having to battle who will get to wear this set - with its coloring and geometric floral design, it can appeal to either gender. It’s a medium thick button cover set - not flat, but not so thick that it protrudes off clothes.It arrived individually bagged within a larger zip lock which also included polishing cloth and what I call a guitar pick to help open the clasps to remove. PLUS a storage or travel pouch (the snap was a bit difficult to open, concerned it could separate - but overall a nice touch, and can fit more than this pair).These are hinged and snap closed.

I got these kind of on a lark. I have some cufflinks, inherited or estate sale, but don’t have the French cuffs to swing it. I thought these could work. They arrived in a small ziploc bag, each in their own individual mini ziploc bag. Also included is a suede pouch for storage, a cleaning cloth (odd) and a little medallion of unknown purpose, maybe to help unhinge the back or if you need an emergency guitar pick. They open relatively easy and clasp closed solidly enough that I think they will stay put. They are ten-footers so they look good at a casual glance but show their lack of detail at close scrutiny. I rarely get gussied up anymore but I will give them a whirl next time I necktie and suit it up. I think, at the price, you can pick one of the myriad designs and feel like you made a good selection.

I ordered these OoSsSoO Button cover Mens retro Button covers for my teenage son. He is very into mid-century menswear, and likes cuff links. It can be hard to find French cuff shirts at a reasonable price, so I thought he might like these, as they provide a similar look.I remember button covers like this back in the 90s for women, they came in sets and you could just slide them over the buttons on your shirt or cardigan. Mostly they were themed—I remember a teacher had “school” ones, like a pencil, apple, schoolbus.These button covers are smaller than the ones I remember, and are more of a menswear look.I received two silver tone button covers. Their diameter is approximately .69 of an inch. The back of the button covers open up, and there is a cut-out that you slide over the button. (They can go on any button. My son wears his on the cuff button at his wrist.) Once you have attached the back plate to the shirt button, you flip the rest of the button back onto the back (it is kind of hinged) and click it shut.The design on the front of the button covers is ornate and three dimensional. It is probably molded, but it is made to look like a carved design. The black shadows and the silver toned metal look attractive together.The design looks kind of like four elongated hearts surrounding a small diamond. Small dots add to the intricate design, and the button covers are reminiscent of cufflinks when attached to a shirt cuff. The design has a vintage feel.These are kind of a neat little accessory. I like that they are less expensive than many cufflinks, and that you can wear them on a regular shirt. (I love my son’s sense of style, but fedoras and tweed jackets, seersucker suits, spats, and ties are pricier than jeans and tees on sale at the big box stores. So this is a nice, budget way to get that Mad Men, midcentury style.)Set of two silver-toned button covers slide over shirt buttons and look like cufflinks.
