Very easy to use. Our 4 year old tests the water for us. He accidentally dropped it in the pool and it floated well. Great value for the money. It reads temp and salinity,

The salinity readings of this unit are extremely inaccurate. When professional readings indicate 3,800ppm, this unit measured 2,000ppm. This variance is problematic with a salt-water pool as it suggests that you need to add salt when in fact the pool already has too much salt. I suggest searching for a more accurate meter.

The unit was not initially working until i removed and reinstalled the batteries, since then the tester has been working well. Seems to give an accurate reading.

Awesome unit, very easy to use and fast read and clear readout. Excellent unit for salt water pool.
