The gnu/linux driver they provide (a deb, so it probably won't work outside the Debian family) doesn't work worth a hoot under Ubuntu 18.04, which is still in "extended support" I think they call it, so minus a star for poor backward compatibility, but works great in Lubuntu 24.04. Annoying to me at the moment, because 18.04 is still my "main" system, but forgivable, and I'll be migrating soon anyway. Caution to users of non-Debian type 'nixes though. Shipping it with a deb seems to indicate they think Linux = Ubuntu.

I picked the ORGSTA thermal printer since it had USB instead of bluetooth like the other ones I found online. I use it to print UPS and USPS labels for my eBay store. It feels well made, and I think it should last a while. The labels are clear and reasonably fast to print out of the box. I definitely recommend it to someone looking for an affordable alternative to all the Bluetooth thermal printers you find online.

Goodness, this is one of the best investments I’ve ever made. If you print USPS postage for small or large business and you’re still using your large printer (using expensive/messy ink) to print labels, my friend you are unnecessarily struggling. This little machine is incredibly easy to use and prints beautifully. Never ever going back to the old school way again lol.One note: if you have Apple products, please do yourself a favor and read the instructions of the pamphlet to download the installation driver FIRST. I had a mini panic attack when I plugged it in without pre-reading and my Mac initially rejected the install. Instructions are super easy and straight forward I promise.Don’t hesitate to get this one. Works like the ones that cost double or triple the price. Great value!

DO NOT BUY. DOES NOT WORK, very very complicated to connect, bought a spades adaptor to connect to phone and computer but nothing about a printer pops up.
