Latest batch (December-Jan 2025) may need a recall as too many reviews are stating the same thing - projectile vomiting.All three cats ate this vigorously for 3-4 days and then my special needs cat vomited more than 15 times within 24 hours - she refuses to eat this now while keeping other food including raw tuna down just fine. The other cats are picking out the old kibble around these. My big boy who eats EVERYTHING turns his nose to it now.

El producto es muy bueno, de una marca reconocida por su calidad y salubridad. Sin embargo hay que poner atención en los distribuidores por que un aspecto importante al comprarlo es su fecha de caducidad que debe ser de al menos 4 meses de vigencia sino los 6 meses como mínimo y esto no siempre lo cumplen sus distribuidores que envían este producto próximo a su fecha de caducidad. "Ojo" con esto al comprarlo, al menos aquí en México. Yo tuve que devolverlo por esta razón.

My cats like this stuff. I purchased a 12 pound bag of fit and trim. When I open it I was amazed that has a funky closure on a huge bag of cat food. I could not make it stay closed, because it would not seal. Never seen a cat food bag this large that is impossible to keep closed because of the manufactures defective closure on the top of the bag.I had to move all of that cat food into containers that can be closed to keep the product fresh. For that reason I have given it a four star rating rather than a five star. Very disappointed in this expensive Cat food package that the manufacturer could not see that a good closure on this food is important.

My cat LOVES this food! The smell is extremely enticing and the taste is even better. He has no idea it is diet food. He even prefers Orijen over his old foods- Royal Canin GI Fiber Response and wet foods (Ziwi Peak flavors Rabbit and Lamb & Mackarel and Lamb flavors). The high protein and low carbohydrate diet are recommend for cats to live a long and healthy life. I researched which food to feed my kitty extensively before choosing Orijen because he was recently diagnosed with cancer and it is best to feed cat's a high protein, low carbohydrate diet in order to fight this disease because most cat foods on the market have more than 15% carbohydrate ratio, which actually feeds that cancer and does not aid in extending the kitty's life. Also, older, male cats have a tendency to develop hypothyroidism and diabetes due to a high carbohydrate diet, so Orijen's Fit and Trim food is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a cat food to prevent and reduce obesity, which contributes to both of those diseases in kitties and can be very difficult to treat from experience. Although Orijen is pricey, it is worth the cost when treating cancer, diabetes, and hypothyroidism can cost upwards into the thousands.
