Keep the following in mind when reading this. I prefer silk dome tweeters.That said, these can get loud. They are big and heavy. One of the two capacitors was dry, I replaced both. Reading some other reviews, I am wondering if these sat in a warehouse for a long time before being sold. Oh Well, it's a cheap fix and you can get some better quality caps in the process. Anyway, while these get loud, and probably will suit many people, they aren't for me. I gave metal diaphragm tweeters another go and still can't get on board. It's not a failing of the product, just a preference thing. They compared favorably to a bunch of other sets I tried recently. These are pretty inexpensive and they definitely perform so I have to give them a solid 5 rating.

if loud is what your looking for loud is what you will get. highly suggest you do some research before just adding these kinds of tweeters to just any system lol. should make sure its necessary. for the price they run great and i have no complaints after 3 months of use nearly everyday!

Very very good quality tweeters with a full 1" voice coil. These things screem. I'm powering them with JL Audio RD400/4 amp bridged with another set of tweets in my rear as well as 2 pairs of 6.5" woofers. Slightly under powered but still sounds great with my W7. Very crisp and clean. I'm using my own active crossovers but they do feature an internal passive crossovers that i did not test. Overall, these tweeters are the real deal. OG Orion quality.

These sound great and are even super loud. It's a definite upgrade from stock and the price is great!

These tweeters (4.5" Super Tweeter) are ok. They sound good and loud, but not what I would call Great. I honestly expected more from specs. In my use, I installed these in a custom-built active bluetooth speaker. I'm pushing 125 watts to these (the RMS rating), and they get plenty loud. I have another set by warzone and they don't get as loud, but they sound more crisp and less tin-horn like.As for build quality, I would expect more for the money. The plastic body is at least made of a very sturdy plastic. The connectors are a big disappointment though. Other Orion tweeters have screw-down terminals for speaker wire, but these have a tiny cheap solder-on connector. One side already has the capacitor attached to it with 22AWG wire (very thin). Also, I think the capacitor on one was not working so, I cut them both off and ran these through an external crossover which worked much better.I really wanted to like these, but if you're doing all the work for a custom build, I would suggest using something of higher quality.
