Works great for winch disconnect. I also put some silicone to waterproof the backend where the wire comes out.

Spring metal inside the red plastic pieces started to rust and caused corrosion inside the connector. I had to remove red plastic wire brush and clean and reinstall. I’m guess these are not saltwater resistant.

The product seems to work fine once you figure out how to it works. Unfortunately you are on your own trying to determine how best to crimp the contacts and which direction to insert them into the connector shell. I bought an extra one in case I screwed it up, which I did. So one connector goes in the trash and the 2nd one came out working well.

Exactly what you wanted, not like all the other cheap junk Amazon seems to be selling. They are dear but you get what you pay for. Solid feeling plastic, the lugs are of good quality, just a good experience overall. Definitely not weatherproof, I have found the black covers hold more water in then they keep out.
