Much better than the 1 or 1 1/2 ton units. Better built! I did remove the big handle and replaced it with a 1/2" ratchet and socket instead... the handle got in the way while installing an engine with gear box attached at the same time bc of the angle going in. Worked better with the ratchet!

I used this to set my rebuilt 22r into my 1985 Toyota pickup and was amazed at how much easier it was than some straps that I previously used to get it out.

Worked great. Some have mentioned that the chain is weak. I inspected every weld joint on each link visually and they were all complete and well formed. I decided it was okay for lifting the stripped down 4 cylinder engine which I estimate was less than 400 lbs. and it worked just fine. I may not have even needed to buy this for such a small engine considering I did not lift the gearbox and engine together. Tighten the handle (knob) spindle before use, the handle came loose when I cranked it.

Shipped quick. Looks good and solid. Seems to work good so far (engine is hanging on it now). Only thing I didn't like was the clevis that came with the unit, it looks to small and weak for a 2 ton load. I replaced it with a hardened bolt and upgraded chain.
