I was excited to see the lights after installing 4 of them as accents lights under the dash adding a bit of light on the floor. It really looked good, that is until I drove about around running errands and they all just went out. They were not running on the same source, so I knew it wasn’t a wiring issue. But I disconnected and tested the wiring with a new bulb from the same package and sure enough it work. I just removed them and requested a refund. Will just install the green ones I already have from a purchase about 6 years ago, that have worked in my truck since then.

Do not be fooled by the item description which clearly states that these are 430nm, nor by the higher price making you think you're getting something special. In reality they're the typical 400~405nm LED that has a very fluorescent package (but typically only for a few tens of hours, the fluorescence fading rapidly) making it look kind of blue-purplish. They're quite bright (at least until the package fluorescence fades) but not what I ordered. If the description had ONLY said they were "purple" I'd have no grounds to be upset because "purple" can cover a lot of things (although we would assume some mixture of reddish and bluish wavelengths tending toward a higher blue to red ratio). But this description clearly says "430nm". Just maybe having some 430nm doesn't count, it needs to be peak (or at least dominant, though speaking of dominant wavelength close to 400nm is mostly meaningless). This item would most correctly be described as NUV (near ultraviolet).
