These are my first half chaps and I love them! I've seen an improvement to my riding as these help to get my leg on the correct alignment. I ordered a medium and they are perfect. For reference I'm 5'4" and the widest part of my calf is 16" circumference. I've had huge calves my whole life thanks to awful genetics and these are the first half chaps I've found that fit. I previously had ordered a large and they also fit easily around my calves, but we're too long. I never review things, but these have been so great I just had to share.

Ovation used to make a solid, awesome half chap that had weight and was just really nice for the price. Somewhat disappointed with what they sell now. Haven’t ridden in them just yet I’m just sort of disappointed. The material is thin and feels ultra cheap.

I am 125 lbs 5'5" and I bought a medium. They are tight (hard to zip) but not worth returning for a large. I was surprised by the sizing and feel like these are almost children's sizes. Or maybe my calves are just abnormally large (possible). They otherwise seem like good quality.
