This was well made - material very substantial and not flimsy - and looked super. Unfortunately, I sent it back because the delivery was delayed and it came the day after I needed it. But if you are looking for a well-made costume that looks the part of Alma - this is it.

This dress/costume is perfect for what I wanted it for. My mother in law was looking for something for Halloween, and I snagged this for her. The color is more pink than red. We sizes up, and thankful we did. It’s tight in the breast area. Other than that, it’s a nice, decently made dress

From the images, I thought I could possibly get by as using it as a historical dress since it has that style. But because the details are printed on, it definitely only works as a costume. The apron part is separate. It mostly fits as a character costume but is a little tight in the chest (at least on me). And the neckline is a little high for my liking, enough that it would bother me after a bit of wear. And it's not very flattering honestly, but if you simply want to dress up as abuela it will work fine. It is well-made and I think will endure many wears. Despite that, I think the price point might be a little high. If they provided a few more accessories, it might be worth it, but for just the dress, it feels a little overpriced to me.
