Fin Comb was easy to use, watched a you tube video and was able to straighten out the fins on my A/C unit. It does take some time, especially if you have a large area but that's just the process.

I think they work ok,but I think a small fine metal brush will do the same.

Unfortunately the one I received had half of the LED's not working and the gasket was missing, so I sent it back and shopped elsewhere.

I'm waiting five stars because the product itself appears to be well built. The brushes and the steel thingies are fine. The steel tine handle has a plastic slide that you can move up and down, this allows for spreading out the tines or allowing them to stay tight together.Unfortunately the problem is that the tines are pretty tightly connected together, and the fins on my air conditioner turned out to be closer than I thought. It's a bummer because the air conditioner fans are pretty beat up. But I just could not get these times to squeeze in between them. Yes, I did put in some effort to make it work, that was the entire point.It's just wasn't a good fit is the bottom line. Therefore ease of use isn't necessarily dependent upon the product design, but I suggest you very carefully look at the fins on your air conditioning unit. If they're just not straight fins, this isn't for you. If they're straight fins, and you use the slider on the metal tines, sliding it up to allow the times to spread out more, then this seems like a well-built product for that use.

Bought to replace the light on 1994 Ford f150 - fits good - looks good. Did put silicone around it to seal it off - would recommend to anyone looking to purchase one.

I spent about 15 minutes trying to use the straightener until the wires started falling out. It's mostly metal, so I think it wasn't crimped together good enough. Luckily it was a 2 pack, so I had a backup. I wasn't expecting miracles and it still underperformed. The wires are grouped too tightly together to easily get in-between the air conditioner fins to straighten them easily.The only reason I didn't give it a 1-star and return it is because I only needed it for one AC unit and it did make a minor improvement. I really can't recommend it. But if you do purchase this, you prolly want the 2-pack so you b have a backup like I did.

I bought this as a replacement part for my 1996 Ford Bronco after the brake light bulb terminal in the original part rusted out. The new part fits perfectly. I was able to plug it into the original wiring harness just fine, no splicing needed. The lights are a lot brighter than the original. The provided gasket isn't exactly the right size and shape, and the holes in the gasket for the mounting screws are a bit off. But it's all close enough and flexible enough that you can just kind of push it into place and fudge it.

However fit lacks a bit Jad to fill in surrounding areas with silicon, contour was not exactly same as cab it says it fit.
