It's a very solid piece of equipment and has worked in the limited times we've used. It works best to use two people to help get the band around flat and lined up. The online instructions don't have the right angle for some of the nuances of putting these wraps on. Getting the clamps over the strap with the crimper and keeping the clamp flat is the only part that's going to take a little getting used to. There is some play in this and the only one that has failed has been one that slipped and crimped in more of a V shape. When we tried to lift by that strap it came loose. So if it doesn't crimp flat, redo it.

It's hard for one person to use if you are doing jobs that require you to hold the tensioner up with one hand and holding straps from falling with the other. Getting the straps threaded takes some getting use to.
