The description is accurate, I guess it didn't really sink in how short 3" is! These are decidedly short shorts.They were going to be used for swimming but there's no inner part meaning it would probably be fairly revealing without something under them. They'd be great as a female swim bottom cover-up though!Maybe runners have a way to keep everything together (I had never thought of it) while wearing short shorts. At any rate, these are nice. The material is so soft! The logistics will take some thought but other than that, they seem to be true to size and great quality.

These shorts are a "meh" for me. I like the length for excercise. The material is very thin but stiff, crinkly, and just feels cheap. The fit is fine (medium 31" waist, 165 lb, 5'9").

Offered by the AHA SELECTED Store... This review is for the Men's Running 3 inch Shorts Gym Shorts Men Quick Dry Breathable Lightweight Zip Pockets. First off, I have ordered many shorts in this style. When I first tried these on I could tell they were not for me. The material is just ok. The waistband is not comfortable, and looks cheaply made. I’m 5’10” / 155 lbs. with a muscular thin fit build. In shorts I normally wear a 31”, size Small to Medium. Got these in the small and they were just that... too small. I normally like this style of short, especially with thinner legs, but these came up "short". And for this price (currently $39.99) I would have expected a much higher quality product. Not one I can recommend.

I love these shorts! They are so thin and light! I have already ordered more pairs because they are amazing!!! They are so stretchy and you can use them for just about anything! I go to the gym in these! They are also great for running, thin pockets, perfect to store things but not too big.

These shorts are very comfortable. They seem to be well made to hold up over repeated wears. I will note that they do not have a liner so if that is something you like in your running shorts you will be disappointed. Other than that they are great. They fit true to size and are lightweight, just as the listing describes.
