From a parent's point of view I think this is not very thrilling. I purchased this for my granddaughter who asked for it. She liked it but I thought the beads inside to pluck out were very tiny and she got them all over the place. I think it might be better if the beads were a bit larger where they can use them to make a bracelet or necklace.

I purchased this for my daughter with ASD & ADHD. She picks her skin and scabs. We were going to Disney for the 1st time and wanted to try something else for when we are in car and lines. It helped for brief moments at a time. Every person is different but the beads in this definitely provide small pieces to pick/pull and touch. I think it's worth a try. I rotate our fidget toys and this is in our repertoire now.

Its very fun to play with however you need a container for the beads bc they can get everywhere. Its an okay alternative to skin picking however, it still doesn't stop it 100% however for those trying to pop other ppls, pimples yes its a great alternative.
