I've seen negative feedback about the lids. The lids I received are strong, and seal great. The lids are a harder plastic and stack fine. I don't know if they will get brittle over time, but I have no complaints.The molds are a nice thick and flexible material.

I bought these under the assumption that the “lids” for each container would be sturdy enough to where I would be able to stack the containers in my freezer (I bought 6), but that is not the case. The lids are just flimsy covers that don’t fit well and do not prevent water spillage at all. Overall, yes the containers allow you to make ice blocks, but make sure you have space in your freezer and a mop when filling them up.

I’ll just give you the pros and cons list of the Ice Walrus molds:Pros:- The molds are giant so the ice comes out large- Very sturdy. You can tell it’s high quality silicone. Bendable but strong.- Usable in my ice baths- Usable in my coolers for picnics/beach days/soccer games- Free iceCons:- Takes up some space in the freezerCool mold!
