I use this with rechargeable batteries for a motion-sensing LED light strip in a closet. The strip was meant to be plugged into an USB-to-outlet converter but our closet has no outlet, so this was the solution. It works great, well worth the money.

Easy to use , works well with curtains . Installation is easy and quick. ! Little things make the difference and this product while little solves a larger need.

These fit my old vertical blind chain connector perfectly. I used these to replace some old ones that were either missing a part or were completely yellowed with age. They close very well so you don't have to struggle with getting them closed.

I got this product mostly for powering USB light bulbs, and for that purpose this works great.As a test, I tried charging an iPhone SE. Using 4 NiMh rechargeable batteries (which are 1.2v), this battery holder does indeed charge the iPhone. A USB port tester showed an draw of a little less than 5v. I've only used it for a few minutes, but the iPhone has gone up by 9%. However, when I tried using name-brand Alkaline batteries (which are 1.5v), the iPhone would not take a charge at all. A USB port tester showed the battery holder's output at over 6v, so I think the iPhone didn't like that high voltage and refused the charge.There is a minor design flaw: the ON/OFF switch is on a plastic part that also holds the batteries in place. This plastic part is NOT sufficiently held in place and it's easy to actually push the ON/OFF switch inward to a point that your fingers can't reach it! The fix is to open the battery compartment and press the plastic part back down. A minor annoyance.To sum up, I am glad I purchased these battery holders - they work great and I plan to use them quite a bit!

Quality is 3/5 stars but the concept of this product is good. I do not use the USB so I have to rewire to my application. Still, these will hold 4 AA rechargeables so they are very handy. The switch although cheap, does work Ok. Would have been willing to pay a couple more bucks for an improved version of these.

One of the two items was defective. The on off slide switch was stuck on off position. I was able to take it apart and repair the switch. I can only assume no one tried the switch for quality control.
