Doesn't come loose, soft rubber. Works as well as the original cap.

Love this cap. It stays on my camelbak water bottle pretty well and fits very nicely. I haven’t had any issues with it falling off or anything. It seems pretty durable as well, it survived a whole summer of me running around outside as a camp counselor. It’s very good at keeping dirt out of the cap area (which is what I bought it for). It’s also very easy to open; you can open and close it with one hand no problem. It’s very easy to clean too. Overall, great product.I will warn that the water bottle can leak through the cap if the water bottle lid is not locked (only had this issue when the water bottle was upside down and got a bit squished in my backpack). Its purpose is to keep dirt and stuff out, not to keep water in. Otherwise, I haven’t have any issues whatsoever.

Helpful? Don't forget to like! Thanks!I am a road cyclist turned triathlete. I rack up hundreds of miles each month and I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! It keeps even the small road debris that is not mud or rocks out of my caps. It was out on an 80 mile ride and we road into a slight storm. It started to rain and the road got a little wet. Nothing drastic. The next thing I know I have all kinds of muck and YUCK in my cap. I wasn't able to take a drink. From that moment on it was all caps all the time!This is nice and snug in fit. Easy to clean with a sponge and soapy water. Great for road and mountain bikers alike.DISLIKES: 1. you must fidget to get it open on a ride is kind of annoying but the alternative is knowing it could be "road debris dirty"? GROSS! Peace of mind is worth it to me!2. The texture attracts a lot of lint. In the photos it is actually clean but after touching the velvet backdrop it attracted lint to make it look dirty. Not a sticky texture but I always ask myself "Didn't I wash my bottles after the last ride?" Annoying but again I can live with it. Still worth it to me! Never going back!
