Some products require you to go in with certain expectations, and this is one of them. To begin with, the fabric is thin nylon, so I wouldn't suggest using this with hot lights. The other reason I'd suggest sticking to cooler (temperature-wise, not color temperature) LEDs is that you can often adjust their color temperature on the fly. That comes in handy, because some of these look a lot better using something daylight-balanced, while others work better with a decidedly cooler color temperature. And of course, you'll want to measure before buying. This had no issues fitting a seven-inch light (as advertised), but you really aren't going to get it on anything larger -- and believe me, I tried, but this wasn't going to fit on my 9-inch Promaster lights (not the product's fault -- the measurements are in the description -- but an FYI). I've used better diffusion socks than these, but these aren't bad to have onhand in a pinch.

For the price, this is a good set of colorful diffusers. They're compact and easily fit into any bag. I appreciate that they not only add color but also help diffuse the light. This is especially useful for bi-color lights that lack RGB capabilities, as it allows me to adjust the color temperature. While the thin nylon construction is fine for most applications, I wouldn't recommend using them with hot lights.
