Gave this to my buddy who is a swim coach... his review:We use a lot of resistance equipment for strength and power development. From heavy weight towers and bungees to cup belts and parachutes, we have a lot of experience with different devices.Tatengue’s parachute very easy to assemble right out of the bag. Like TYR’s version, the Tatengue has three different sizes for different resistances. However, the Tatengue has three different attachments for one belt vs simply buying three different chutes. The largest size (black) was surprisingly effective and seemed to offer a drag coefficient of about 40% while the two smaller sizes were noticeably less. The only odd drawback was that the tether was oddly long. This would become a problem if we had multiple swimmers in a lane. It also presented a slight problem with flipturns.

These parachutes are extremely simple yet extremely effective. They are durable and made of great material and will last a lifetime all while improving your swimming!Similar to ankle weights for running, the parachutes provide extra drag making it harder to swim forward. But when you take them off, especially if you race, you'll feel so much lighter and fly through the water. The design is very simple yet effective. The 3 different sizes allows you to choose how much drag you want. It also comes with a very simple belt harness to attach the parachutes behind you. Everything is made out of pretty nice material. If you take care of them and hang them to try properly after use, these should last forever. I already have used them many times and once dry they look brand new like they just came out of the box.The most important thing with these to keep them in good shape and usable for years to come is drying. Hang them up in a way where none of the parachutes overlap and are holding water. I like to get them as dry as I can with a towel then air dry the rest of the moisture. As long as you dry them well and hang them well, these are absolutely awesome! As for the actual drag in the water, these make a huge difference. Even the smallest one definitely adds a considerable amount of drag. It does take a few laps to get used to the feel of the belt and drag, especially doing turns, but once you are used to it, it is a super effective tool. I feel like even after maybe 5 to 10 uses I can see myself becoming a stronger swimmer. Consistent use of these would yield results guaranteed.Overall these are great! They arent to be used for every swim you do but if you are a competition swimmer, distance swimmer, or just want to train in the water or become a stronger swimmer, these are a cheap and simple way to improve your game! Keep them dry after use and they'll last forever! I highly recommend!

We got these for my son who is on my swim team to add more variety to his training. The quality is good and it's so versatile and easy to use. We really love it's functionality and excited to see improvements with his speed as he works more with them. We can't attest to its durability but they seem to be well made and we are expected to use them for a value. For the money we definitely think it's worth it to add to an existing practice routine. Recommended.

This is a great tool for getting a good workout in a small pool. It is well-made, sturdy, and effective. I hope to get countless workouts with it. If/when it fails, I will return to this review with my updates.
