I like that once it's assembled and you super tighten everything with the provided wrench, it's nice and sturdy. All the bolts are welded into place, so no lost pieces. Only takes up 2sq feet of floor space. Arrived on time.I don't like that a piece of the metal was bent and I had to make it straight enough to assemble.

This umbrella stand is super sturdy and so easy to install. I'm not using it for it's intended purpose. It's great for orchid growers or anyone who grows hanging plants in small spaces. I'm currently growing masdevallias on the top shelf and hanging dracula orchids from the hooks that the stand came with. I also have grow lights attached to the stand. This setup gives me alot of flexibility. It let's me put these cooler growing orchids in a location that stays relatively colder than the rest of my house during the summer months. The size is perfect - not too small (for holding numerous plants) and not too big (that it would be tedious to move around) - I can control where I grow my plants depending on the seasons.With the bottom tray, I plan to put water in it to create humidity around the plants. Although, I haven't tried it yet, it should hold water since the tray's purpose is to catch rain water droplets from the umbrellas.

We bought this for Mom, who was wanting something to hold her canes. We had been looking specifically for cane holders, then thought to look for umbrella holders instead. This works perfectly for all her canes (except the fat-footed one, which we put in the holder upside-down, so it also fits!). The hooks are not removable except with wire cutters, but she didn't want them removed, she hangs small umbrellas and whisk brooms on them! This fits perfectly by her front door. and looks very nice!
