I put this head on the floor tom of my Tama Club Jam kit (14" × 7") and it's brought so much depth to it and seriously reduced overtones / sustain.Because it's a fairly cheap drum and because it's very shallow, the drum didn't have the best sound but it was usable. I had a Remo Emperor batter but it was still lacking. I hadn't changed the stock resonant heads so decided to try these Reso 7 heads and I'm so glad I did. The sound is amazing. Takes my fairly cheap kit and makes it sound great!

Se ve hermoso y suena muy bien. Me tardé en afinarlo, pero valió la pena una vez que lo logré. Lo recomiendo aunque se ensucian más rápido que los parches transparentes (obviamente).

裏にこれを張った上で、表を同じEVANSのオニキスやハイドローリックにすれば、ミュート無しでもイヤな倍音相当減ると思います。チューニングは頑張るしかないですけどね。笑

La diferencia es impresionante. Había usado durante años un Clear Ambassador como parche resonante. El principal problema que siempre tuve fué ese tono nasal y armónicos agudos durante la resonancia. Lo solucionaba hasta cierto punto con cinta o moongel pero aún así esos agudos eran captados por el micrófono directo y a veces hasta en los overheads.Este parche RESO 7 en verdad es increible, da un tono super controlado y cero armónicos molestos. Mucho cuerpo y por fin el tambor puede resonar naturalmente.Tengo una batería Starclassic Bubinga y sin duda con RESO 7 y UV1 arriba es como mejor ha sonado.Lo recomiendo al 100%

There aren't many reviews for this head yet, so I thought I'd share my experience. This head does exactly what Evans claims it does, which is shorten sustain and warm up the resonance. It is essentially their version of the Remo Coated Diplomat. Used in conjunction with the single-ply coated G12, it allows the full tone of the drum to come through while reducing the length of the note. I get the responsiveness and resonance of a single-ply batter without too much ringing. However, the dampening isn't excessive, so I still have an open, expressive default sound and I can add muffling from there if the music calls for it. Perfect for my needs.Highly recommended if you want a touch of control while still allowing the drum to sing.
