i bought these for Christmas for my family whom we couldn't join for Christmas this year. they wound up having additional guests and this package was perfect to give everyone a hat and a pair of socks. they send me a video of the event with everyone wearing their blinking hats and silly socks. i think it was a big hit for them all, especially for us who loved the video and laughter it brought.

I use these for cat food dishes, not for kids. Kids are not cats so maybe this review will or will not help you :). They are pretty sturdy and easy to clean. They are lightweight and a good price for what you get. So, go feed your cats, or your kids and enjoy!

These plates are small, 7 inch diameter and 3/4 inch deep. They are the compliment plates to the 4 inch diameter, 10 oz bowls from the same company.I do not have a dishwasher so I cannot test it to see if it is dishwasher safe and it does not have the dishwasher safe standard symbol on them. It does carry two other symbols on them. The 5PP symbol for food and microwave safe polypropylene polymer and the safe for food contact symbol.Not a big enough size for a kid's dinner meal but is for snacks or a sandwich and baby food. It is sturdy hard plastic.
