These gloves keep your hands warm down to the mid 30's. We live in Florida, so this rarely happens, but when it does, keeping your hands warm when cycling is essential. I've not used them below 34F starting temperature, so I can't comment on how well they work any colder than that.

I just got these and took them out on their first test, a ride with a static air temperature of 42° and sunshine and very light winds. Of course, there’s always a relative wind of the bicycle to take into account so they got a good test. I found them to be perfectly warm in the circumstances no issues with air, penetrating the glove, they’re very comfortable. They’ve got all the right leather pads in all the right places. They feel very durable, and my last product from these folks lasted me many years. I suspect these will make it many years more too. Make sure you get a good fit. It’s important to wear an extra large if you’re extra large and a large if you’re large, etc. The gloves are more formfitting than they look in the picture. They also worked pretty well with the phone. I was able to manipulate the iPhone without too much trouble. Quite pleased with these!

I’ve used these on the road at 40 degrees, and mountain biking in 33 degree rain. They are fantastic. They do not get slippery when wet and block all wind. They are a great purchase!

For many years I have used the Cyclones as my main gloves for riding. And I loved them. The trouble with these new gloves is that there is no liner and the seams inside poke your hands. They also arrived with a tear and I returned them. I ended up buying some Sealskinz for more money which match the old Pearl Izumi's quality I have with the old pair I was trying to replace. Hopefully PI will improve their quality in the future so I can go back to that brand.

Don't buy these. So different than previous models. Seams are thick and irritating. Also, I don't see how these would keep your hands warm.
