These are well made, out of a thick, luxurious feeling fabric. The tops are open, for pony tails or clipped up hair. One day I just wanted to hide my hair so I pinned the black one together with a couple safety pins. I really like them. And I like the great sun protection coverage of the large brim. My husband said he thinks the brims are too large and look a little funny - but I didn't ask for his opinion, so I'm ignoring it. I'm very pleased with these. They arrived quickly and in great condition.

I purchased these for a trip to California. I have to keep my ears covered but also have long hair and needed to be able to put my hair on top of my head.Not only did they work perfectly but I didn't have to mess with the hat at all. It stayed in place perfectly.
