Smaller than I thought they were. May order the larger case as it is still within linear luggage specs for most airlines.

Having to do a lot of flying with equipment this was the perfect choice to protect what is within. It is well built and if damaged it is possible to exchange parts out for new.Being ridged and block shaped there is a lot of room within to hold everything. A simple design, but has everything that is needed, the locks are very sturdy and secure.It isn't the cheapest of suitcases, but you pay for what you get and this will last a long time, I have flown multiple trips and it is still going strong, where other suitcases would have had to be replaced.

where flooding, insects, sand are an isssue? Is your flight long and you are carrying fragile items that need to be protected? Then this is the case for you. In an old job, we used pelican cases for everything, and this one is as good as standard government issue (which is better than it sounds). Kept my items secure. The pressure release valve meant the perfume I brought (shouldn't have) didn't explode. When the floods hit, I stuffed everything in here and my clothes and electronics stayed dry. When the dust storms hit, my stuff stayed clean. Poor case was dragged over rocks, dirt, etc and the wheels held up great. Pull our handle is strong and sturdy.

Case arrived missing one of the hinge rods. While frustrating that Amazon wouldn't just exchange the item Pelican promptly mailed the part to my home and I installed it with no issues and now have a very nice suitcase that I am looking forward to traveling with

The pelican air is super nice and holds up well. It’s not too heavy, but protects the items you have in it. I like the color too
