G10素材の2ピース前後分割(21f/6.4)ケースが優れものだったので期待して購入したが ワンピース構造で少々期待ハズレだった。カーボンの2ピース構造のケースも存在するようだがスリムタイプのOtterBox等と同じような貼り合わせ(異素材の組み合わせで強度分担する構造)で以前のようなベゼル部分に空間が有るケースでは無さそうだ。バイク乗りの感覚ではかなりの速度で走っているバイクのブラケットから路面に落ちるとタイヤと同じような中空構造が一番衝撃吸収効果が期待できるように思うのだが・・スマホの大型化・重量増加に伴い不可能になったと思われる。まあバイカーは少数民族なのでシェアはそれ程無いので仕方がないが 何処か気の利いたメーカーさんがリリースしてくれるのを期待しよう(笑)

I got this case for my new iPhone 16 Pro when it had 0 reviews, but I’ve had pelican products before and know the quality. This case didn’t disappoint.I have been using Otterbox Commuter or Symmetry cases on my iPhones for the past 10 or so years. While I like the Otterbox cases, they left more to be desired. This Pelican case has an outer band on the back that raises the whole phone off the table so it doesn’t wobble back and forth on a table when laying camera side down like the otterboxes do. This has a trade off though because the Pelican is thicker because of this. I like it though that my phone doesn’t teeter totter when sitting on a table now. Also the Pelican case seems like it’s grippier than the Otterbox cases.Overall a good case despite the thickness.
