I'll be the first to admit I did not read the full description. I was surprised by the fact that it's actually a hollow tube which makes sense considering the name. I found this easier to work with than typical gimp or plastic lace as they also call it. It's easier to work with and you don't have to worry about it getting twisted and looking funny when it's done. It was flexible to work with but nice and stiff on the finished zipper pull. Ordered this in more colors.

The Sghetti fits over the tip of your needle, making it easy to slide live stitches onto a holder for trying on or stitching later. At 50 yds per spool you will only need one in your knitting lifetime. Great product.
