These are good quality, but I wish the letters were thought out a little bit better to line up when forming words. Also the box is massive, hard to find a shelf they fit nicely on.

I’m a homeschool mom and I really like this set! I like that the boxes holding the letters are in the same order/position as my “print” moveable alphabet, so my daughter can easily find the letters just like in her other box. I included pictures to show the size comparison between the 2 boxes and letters since other reviews mention being surprised by the size. The letters are very similar in size to my print letters but cursive has the little connector lines and gets a bit wider. Other reviewers mention concerns about the letters not linking up perfectly in line. Other pictures I’ve seen show the letters overlapping a bit to line them up. I’m ok with this. Some of the letters would be somewhat awkward to line up anyway. When we write them we compensate but wooden letters can’t adjust. I figure I’ll smooth all that out as I teach along the way. It’s probably good to have those conversations anyway. I would say fresh out of the packaging the set has the usual scent that this “laminate” type of wood has after being cut. Seems like that will mellow out within a few days. All in all I’m super excited to work with this set and I think we are going to do very well with it. Wishing everyone happy learning/teaching/guiding experiences!

My 6 year old is beginning to learn cursive. We're starting with playing games and matching to build recognition before we start writing them. These are really well made and are sturdy in your hands. The container came with a lid and a labeled space for each letter, so it's easy to find them and put them away. As a homeschool family, we are always needing more space to store our supplies and I'm not sure where this will go (it's huge). But I'm glad we invested in this set. We will use these letters a lot. Highly recommend.

My bad for not paying better attention to product details but I was surprised at how large these "small" moveable alphabet letters are! Still, we've got the space for them and my kids love them so we'll keep them. The case is great - nice and sturdy, with the lid for storing. My six year old can still move the box around when getting set up for her virtual school lessons. The letters are nice and thick and will last a while. We had to make two stacks of each vowel since there's more of them and the stack sticks up too high otherwise. I've added a few photos for reference on size and the quality of the letters themselves. They don't line up exactly as far as the cursive tails or connectors but close enough for kids to get the idea of how the cursive letters look connected to each other. And they're much more affordable than the "real" ones from the Montessori classroom supply websites. If you're comfortable with the size of these then I would definitely recommend!
