Very good at blocking light although if you are not careful you will pull the adhesive off as the velcro is too strong for the glue that is used

We have a home in Florida and it's Sunny and hot always!! In two guest bedrooms we needed to black out all of the windows and 2 large sliding glass doors as shown in the pics. Ended up ordering 5 packs which worked out perfectly. It was a time consuming project for two of us to measure, lay out and cut but well worth the effort. Not only were the rooms completely darkened but the reflective side kept them much cooler during the day. Even though the pics show light creeping around the edges it was actually minimal. The adhesive tabs are very sticky although the corners on the sliding glass door in the first pic continued to fall down after a few days. We should have treated that slider as two separate panels like the one in the last pic, also a slider. It was just too heavy so we added more tabs and it worked like a charm. They give you plenty of sticky velcro tabs so use 'em! We took everything down once the kiddos left and stored them away for next time. Highly recommend!

Put these on our daughters windows. I had to buy extra Velcro to do the second window. It turns a mid day bedroom into midnight and makes naps go much better. Turns the rooms BLACK even mid day. Great value, got a lot compared to other kits at this price point. Would be 5 stars if it came with more Velcro.

We needed something to block out the sun in our camper in the bedroom completely but could be removed to let air in. It was easy to cut to size and install.I have now also cut a piece to fit in the top window pain of my bedroom cause the sun is blinding and only shines in the top window pain into my eyes. So now I can keep the bottom pain open for air and block the bright sun from the top. I love it.

We recently moved into a short term rental apartment, so we did not want to put up blackout curtains. We have a 6 month old who has difficulty sleeping with ANY light.This was the PERFECT alternative. It is not the most esthetic option, but it works so well! The light is completely blocked and my baby is sleeping better.It was not hard to put up at all. Which is a plus for us.
