The item itself is fine. But THESE DO NOT WORK for guinea pigs. I got a large, yes it fits but guess what? The circle around is so big it gets in the way of them walking and they can barely walk.. they keep triping.. freaking out and stressing out. I even tried cutting just a lil off half of a side to be a lil shorter so she wouldnt keep tripping. but that doesnt work either!!

I bought the size L and it's too short for a domestic rabbit that weighs 4 lbs. She can definitely reach her spay incision and she can reach her bottom as well so probably won't be good for male neuter either. It's light weight and comfortable but needs be 1-2 inches longer in the width. Someone said it worked great for their rabbit but not for me.

First and foremost, the drawstring is a terrible idea. Within a few minutes my rabbit got her front leg caught in it and panicked, I was barely able to get it off of her because she was just thrashing around. I cut off the string so it was just Velcro (this is better IMO, it will just undo itself if they get caught and not choke them), but once the cone inverted itself, she was still able to lick her back foot, which was the whole reason I purchased it. My rabbit is a dwarf mix, she weighs 4lbs and is not very big. If you have an animal this size or bigger the cone won't keep them from getting to their back legs or tummy.

While this is no fault of the product, my Guinea pig would freakout and run around when wearing this item. At one point the part you pull to tighten it got caught on one of her legs and caused her to fall onto her side and squeal in disapproval.
