When the original Petmate Fresh Flow Pump finally called it quits, this replacement pump works just as good, if not better, than the original. It is nice and quiet and pumps round the clock like a champ.

Funciona muy bien, de hecho funciona para la 360 de drinkwell, solo coloque la parte superior delgada sobre la bomba y opera perfecto.

excelente que haya repuesto del motor para evitar comprar el bebedero completo. Fué muy fácil de instalar y quedó perfecto. Excelente compra.

Tenía una bomba cuyo adaptador mis gatos que se encargaron de sumergir. Al comprar este viene tanto adaptador de corriente como la bomba, así que ya tengo una bomba de reemplazo, y a muy buen precio. Si busca el adaptador lo único de la bomba es que el cable viene al revés de como se venden los adaptadores normales y no le quedan.

Lo compre para repuesto de una fuente tipo catit pero lo que no revise era el tamaño, aun así todo tiene arreglo, solo tengo que acomodarlo de manera lateral y queda perfecto.

As I'm writing this, the original Drinkwell pump is twice the price (here in Canada) and is virtually the same pump. Perfect fit, no tinkering required ; all you have to do is remove their little output adapter (pulls out) and re-use the original long grey plastic tube that slides into the pump. My original pump is still working after 3+ years, but the slotted water entry cover was in bad shape... so I figured it was time. And these motors don't last forever. Love this new one.

Este producto no vale la pena el motor se quema muy rápido lo compré y me duró tres meses .

I have the plastic version of the Drinkwell 360 fountain, and after a few years the pump has worn out. I don't mean that the impeller doesn't turn as I have been removing and cleaning it as needed. Instead, the outer plastic "jacket" on the wire has cracked and exposed the metal conductors near the plug on the AC adapter. I ordered the replacement, and was pleased to see that they have updated several design elements, hopefully making a more reliable product. The first change I noticed was that now there is no "pigtail" coming off the AC adapter. Now there is a port on the bottom, and a matching plug on the end of the pump's cable. The next thing I noticed is that the rear cover of the pump is more easily removable. Honestly, I removed the cover from the original pump since I discovered that its main function appeared to be to collect gross slimy junk. I had to cut the original one off, since the power cord ran through a hole in the cover. The new pump doesn't have this, so I just pulled it off and discarded it. The next improvements I noticed are with the impeller itself. The "blades" have been redesigned, and produce a more reasonable output. The original pump put out a LOT of water unless you dialed it back a bit. The new design doesn't do this. There is also now a hole near where the impeller shaft enters the body of the pump. I'm hoping that this will allow more water to flow through the assembly, preventing gunk buildup. I wasn't happy to have to shell out money for a new pump, but now that I've seen the improvements I don't mind so much.

My four cats love their Drinkwell Platinum water fountain but to buy replacement parts in Canada is next to impossible. You can order them from Petmate directly, that is if you don't mind paying a $35 shipping fee for a $14.95 pump. For that amount of money I considered and did purchase a new Drinkwell Zen fountain instead because the Platinum are ridiculously expensive right now for some reason. Anyway, I searched to no end and decided to see if there were any pumps that could be adapted to fit the fountain because I didn't want to throw it out as everything else is still in good working order.Several reviews said this pump would not work but alas! it does! the search is over!! When you receive the pump, the only catch is you need to remove the two short water "pipes' that insert directly into the top of the pump. At this point, when you place the reservoir back in place the reservoir spout will fit directly into the pump. You won't be able to adjust the water flow but that's not a problem either. I've had mine running successfully for an hour now with the perfect stream coming out, no spillage or splashing (not counting the cats playing of course). For $12.59 (I bought two) and free shipping my four cats are happy slurping away again, thank you amazon! :)
