Solid construction. Great for multiple dogs. Only downside is having to remove the bottle when you have to clean out the debris.

More impressed than expected, very sturdy plastic and I like that where the water sits has corners rather than sloped to the edge (which I believe discourages my 9 months old pyrador from digging the water out) and having a 5 gallon jug on it really makes the whole thing solid and not easily tipped. I had a problem with my puppy digging the water out of the smaller ones and then tipping them over and proceeding to turn them into chewed up plastic.I opted to keep the original cap on my jugs to allow less water to come out when putting the jugs on. I cut 4 slits in the opening which worked perfectly for using my kitchen sprayer to fill and it is perfectly sized that way so it'll hold the sprayer on and fill without me holding it. I have had them two weeks now and have only had to fill them once a week with 3 dogs (small, medium, and large) and they are still about 1/4 full when I do (to prevent it from becoming light enough to play with). I have them in a metal tray intended for a kennel that I had for containing any splashes (which may be temporary as I have a feeling it may rust down the road)I intended to use these temporary since they weren't expensive until I found a more durable design but the design has seemed to make them less fun to play in and with by my puppy but great design for me since I don't have to clean up water off the floor anymore.

Love that I can use a 5 gallon or 3 gallon bottle. We fill it up outside at the specket and it last for a good while. We have an ex large and a little dog. Worth the money for sure will get another.

I have two medium/large dogs: one pittie mix (girl, 65 lbs) and one boxer/pittie mix (boy, 70lbs). My boy loves to drink water, and we have the outdoor filtered Drinkwell fountain. For some reason my girl prefers a still water bowl, she's not a fan of running fountains. I wanted an extra large capacity fountain for her to drink out of, that my boy could drink out of as well. This one easily sits the regular 5 gallon water jugs that people use in regular water dispensers. It is a little unwieldy to get in when you have to refill the jug, but as long as you do it slowly there's not really much of a problem. It's very heavy when filled to capacity, so I suggest positioning it as close as you can to where you want it, put the jug in, and then scoot it if it's up against a wall or in a corner. It's easy to scrub out and clean when it's refill time. Pups are very happy with it!

This is awesome! It allows me to use any 5 gallon water bottle to dispense fresh water for my dogs. Similar designs I used in the past were composed of two parts and were flimsy material that easily cracked when I flipped the full bottle over onto the stand. This seems solid and sturdy and I expect it will be super easy to clean as well.
