Our cat is stubborn (go figure... he's a cat) and insists on drinking from the bathroom tap. We tried putting a stop to that but he refused to drink from his last fountain. This is the 4th style of fountain we bought and he seems quite content drinking from it. I think the fact that he doesn't have to stick his head under it to get water because it is more like a bubbling brook.I have also found that it is very easy to clean as it is ceramic and consists of only 2 pieces and a pump. It also looks nicer than the other fountains we have had.We are very pleased with this purchase.

A mí gata le encantó, tiene la desventaja de que no tiene sensor de proximidad, pero puedes comprar o adaptarle uno.

Es una fuente muy bella, a nuestra gata le gusta y le cabe bastante agua, hay que limpiarla una vez por semana y la desventaja es que llega a hacer algo de ruido, es espacios pequeños se escucha por lo que no la dejamos prendida todo el día

Es de buena calidad y acabados.La base trae espacios para que pase el cable eléctrico sin que se aplaste y se puede separar la sección donde viene el contacto para poder manipularla más fácilmente al lavarla.Curiosamente, a ninguno de mis gatos les gustó beber el agua de la parte superior ni de la caída de la torre, sino de la parte inferior de la fuente. Y, para que tuvieran más espacio para beber de ahí, giré la torre interna.Como los gatitos son peculiares, si pongo la fuente a competir con una cubeta llena de agua, se decantan por la cubeta, pero definitivamente la fuente se ve mejor y hace que circule el agua.Llevo dos años con la fuente, más o menos, y no ha fallado ni tenido problemas. Simplemente con cambiar las partes reemplazables (filtro y esponja) en buen tiempo es más que suficiente.

Muy buenos materiales. Se ve muy bien y Ahora mi gatita toma más agua, pues definitivamente prefiere el agua que fluye (antes teníamos un “show” mañana y noche cuando tomaba del chorro de agua mientras llenábamos su plato de agua). La bomba es silenciosa, solo escuchas el flujo de agua (pusimos un sensor de movimiento para que solo se prenda cuando se acerca). Excelente producto.

Yo tengo una gato que le encanta tomar agua de la llave, a mi no me gusta porque se desperdicia mucha agua, por eso preferí invertir en esto. (Me siento un poco rara)Yo lo limpio una vez a la semana, me agrada que filtre el agua para mi gato, y bueno, en ciento el ruido, no es muy silencioso, pero si te gustan las fuentes te va a encantar, si no, te acostumbras.

Es muy bella y luce muy linda, tiene buen tamaño, no salpica. La compré para mi gatita y he notado que desde que la activé comenzó a tomar más agua, cosa que es muy favorable para mantenerse saludable de los riñones.No requiere cuidados complicados solo desarmar y lavarla. He encontrado que los filtros son económicos y sobre todo que mantienen en muy buen estado el agua.

I did a lot of research into the best fountain for my cat. This fountain is porcelain and comes apart so that you can wash it in the dish washer.Its not silent since there is always falling water, but I enjoy the sound and my cat loves drinking from falling water. The pump is silent though so shes never hesitated or been scared to use it.It holds a lot of water and it is very easy to see how much water is left in the bowl. I usually top it up one or two times per week.I had no issues putting it together. Was quick and easy and the instruction were clearExcellent fountain, would highly recommend. (Especially for the 64.99 price tag.)

This fountain was meant to be an upgrade to the current plastic fountain that my cats have. Upon receiving the item I was very impressed with the quality of the packing and also the assembly instructions, which explained everything in great detail. This made the assembly of the unit go very smoothly. My last fountain was more of a bubbling style, whereas this one offers 3 options for my cats to drink from it; top bubbling section, side waterfalls and lower water reservoir. My cats love this, as it caters to each of their water drinking preferences. The other plus is that the fountain is ceramic, which means sanitation will be a snap. I found with the plastic one that over time, the surface (particularly around the upper edge) would become pitted, allowing for bacteria to become engrained in those areas. After a couple years of use, you just couldn't get these areas clean. As far as quality of the unit itself, flawless. The finish was purrfect and it is very pleasing to look at. I will comment on the water noise. While I do not mind this, and it is minimal if you keep the reservoir full, it could be a distraction for some people.I do have one improvement idea for the instructions though, it would be nice for the manufacturer to include the replacement part numbers at the very end. While this is noted on the box exterior, it would be nice to have this in the booklet.Looking forward to much use of this item.

My cats love this cute little fountain. They both used to meow at my bathroom sink daily because they like fresh flowing water. I find they do it a lot less often now that I have this fountain. I think when I clean and refill it with cold water my cats are intrigued and reminded to drink more. At first it seemed a bit noisy but after a while the sound of trickling water blends in to the background.I have had it for over a month now and have not had to replace the filter yet. I rinse and refill it daily, and wash it once a week. It was easy to assemble and is just as easy to take apart to wash. It's also a nice bonus that the ceramic pieces are dishwasher friendly. I would highly recommend this product.

My 3 cats have always wanted to drink directly from the faucet. One of our cats cannot stand for even a single cat hair to be in the water bowl. And, of course, that's a challenge to keep them out when you have 3 cats! She would go over to the bowl and meow and look at us as if saying, "Would you please give me a fresh bowl of water, now!". Yes, cats need a fresh bowl of water. But, it's insane to have to empty out the bowl and clean it several times a day! And, like most cats, my cats all enjoy to drink from the faucet. So, I went on a search to find an automatic water bowl that would provide my cats with fresh water and satisfy their need to drink from falling water.We have had the Drinkwell Pagoda Fountain for 6 months now. And, although, it's a pretty expensive solution, overall, it has been worth every penny. My cats are drinking more water, the water maintains a fresh, clean look, and they love to drink the falling water from the elevated section. One of my cats puts her paw under the falling water over and over and licks the water off her paw. They all seem fascinated with it.I purchased a product on Amazon titled "SensorPlug - Motion Activated Electrical Outlet" to combine with it so that the fountain would only run when the cats entered the room. (We placed the fountain in a guest bathroom.) The fountain turns on when it senses the cats entering the room and turns off 2 minutes after they leave the room. Works great. Cats were so fascinated that the water fountain turned on when they entered the room that it seemed like they conspired for the first few days to keep the fountain running all the time. When one of them would hear the fountain go off, they would enter the room again to turn it back on!Of course, with falling water, you do hear the falling water a bit. But, I do not hear the pump running at all. And, if you keep the fountain full (I top ours off daily), the sound of falling water is very faint and I can't easily hear it in the adjacent room even. And, of course, since we put ours on a motion sensor it doesn't run unless a cat is actually drinking from it, which is nice.The fountain is very easy to take apart and clean. And, after 6 months of use, the porcelain surfaces are all still as white and clean looking as the first day we used it. I also like using the charcoal filters. (You do need to rinse them out well before installing them to remove the charcoal dust.) They last 4 weeks for us. And, the pre-fliter catches any cat hair that enters the system, preventing it from entering the pump. The pre-filter is beneath the elevated section, so any stray cat hairs are pulled into that section and "hidden from view" until you clean it. And, because the water is always prestine looking now, my fussy cat hasn't complained at all for me to clean it each day, although, of course, I do clean it regularly. But, on my schedule now, not at my cat's demand! lol...The pump seems to work very well and we've had no problems with it. But, with the fountain being expensive and the pump having a hole that is in a very specific location to feed the elevated platform, we decided to go ahead and purchase 2 extra pumps for it, so we can, hopefully, continue using it for a very long time. The pumps are available from the PetSafe site, part #PAC00-13206.I would highly recommend the fountain to pet owners that love their pets and want the best for their health. This was a very good purchase for us and well worth the money. We love it!
