This shredder does an amazing job. It can handle the amount of sheets indicated, which is a lot more than my very old unit. It's quiet and the bin is large to handle a lot of material. The shredded paper is very small pieces, so no long strands of paper. It does indicate to oil it periodically, so I bought some oil and when doing a lot of shredding I put some oil on a piece of paper and run it through. You'll know when it's time as it makes a little more noise. Or reoil every time you empty the bin. The bin can be tricky to empty and not have pieces all over the place, but I've learned to turn it sideways to empty into my trash bags. I have to do a lot of shredding in the volunteer position I'm in, so I needed something to handle more paper at one time. For the price, this is a great unit.

A mighty and bold shredder it has shown itself to be. It has handle onslaught after onslaught of shredding, where other less worthy shredders would collapse at even the sight of such amounts of paper. None have taken on anywhere near the amount of papers and survived. Not only has it survived but it has thrived, not once did it hold back or get stuck, even when pushed beyond it's official capabilities. Even without yet receiving a single oil replenishment it has held steadfast, not even with a single jam. This beast of a machine is what all shredders need to aspire to, if they only could it would make the world a much better place. Shredding would be solved once and for all. All hail to this mighty shredder, it has done its job with incredible excellence and I would recommend it in all your empires without a seconds thought.

Didn't think I needed one until I used this meat masher. Absolutely brilliant at breaking up minced meat when cooking. I'm not into buying kitchen tools that have a single use but this is fantastic and I would definitely recommend this piece of kit for anyone who likes cooking

So much easy to use and does a much better job at mixing up hamburger that a flipper. Goes through the dishwasher just fine.

This shredder is reasonably priced for what it does. I used to shred many documents and I have found it to be flawless. The window shows how full the bin is. The easy pull out drawer makes emptying the bin a breeze. The shredder is quiet and does the job every time. I have not had any jams. I used it to shred multiple pages as well as one credit card. I can't imagine how a moderatly priced shredder could perform any better than this excellent shredder. I recommend this product whole heartedly.

El precio es algo elevado respecto de otras marcas, pero lo justifica su desempeño, para mí ha sido la mejor opción, ya tuve en casa otra de otra marca y más pequeña y la verdad era un fastidio cada 10 minutos tener que frenar la destrucción de papeles para esperar que se enfriara. Con este equipo logro terminar más rápido sin tener que esperar. Satisfecho con mi comprar.

No es para uso rudo, si no trituras muchas hojas sirve. De lo contrario se tiene que dejar de utilizar por periodos largos porque se calienta.

I bought this shredder for use in a small office. We're required to keep records for seven years, so once a year there's a large pile of eight-year-old records to be shredded. Previous low-cost shredders over-heated after ten minutes and needed long cool-down periods. I decided it was time to pay more to get a shredder that would work longer. The Aurora AU1210MA was rated for 60 minutes' continuous use, and the price was acceptable.When the machine arrived, I wanted to see if the 60 minutes was for real, so I sat down with the shredder and a pile of records. 3 hours and 18 minutes later, the shredder was still going, but I'd had enough, so I congratulated the shredder on its victory and went home for supper. :-) The machine isn't too loud and runs smoothly. It ate file folders, staples and a paper clip without any trouble. I *did* find that I needed to empty the bin every15-20 minutes, and bits of electrocharged paper tended to escape as I transferred the contents of the bin to a large garbage bag. This is a minor issue, however. I'm really pleased with this shredder!

Producto de calidad industrial con gran capacidad para triturar documentos, dvd/cds y tarjetas de credito en cuadritos muy pequeños. Bota un poco de residuo de papel y si hace un poco de ruido, pero vale la pena por el uso continuo de casi una hora que permite.

This is a great handy tool that makes it much easier to cook ground (minced) meat at home. Easily separates the meat. Much, much easier than using a spatula or normal cooking utensil while frying or cooking ground meat.

Unfortunately i am so used to products advertised on the international amazon sites having 110-240 auto switching power supply. I didn’t expect that Amazon would advertise, take payment and ship a product that is INCOMPATIBLE in the country whose amazon site i was shopping (UAE). And upon arrival i read the manual which says nothing about voltage limits. But upon receipt after reading the manual thoroughly I plugged the shredder in and POP BOOM sizzle - thats the end of my shredder. $200 plus wasted in 2 seconds. Not happy!!!!
