Overall, great dicer/slicer. However the fine dicer blade broke within a week. I've since ordered a replacement and I'm hoping that this is not an everyday event. Hoping that this blade was a rare substandard quality item and that the replacement blade will not break. As for the Mandolin slicer, I wish that the slicer made a thicker slice. Cucumbers slices need to be thicker.

I chose this item because the main parts were stainless steel, while others were plastic - something I paid a premium for. However, it did not live up to my expectations. It did work well for dicing onions and cauliflower, but not for broccoli or radishes. I found that even the largest slicing blade gave me cucumber that was too thin for my liking. Although the product page warned that you needed to rock the dicing blades for larger items, it's a lot of work. Finally, using this required so much more work than simply getting out a knife or two and getting the job done, especially since there was also a lot of extra clean up. In the end, using it was far less convenient than not. It was simply more work with less than ideal (my normal) results, and I needed more storage space for it all. Meh.

I had a plastic one, but over time it broke. I wanted something more sturdy and I found this, barely any reviews so I took a chance, usually products end up way better than the most reviewed ones.It's very sharp. Very strong, if you follow the steps on how to use it by using the patting method from the how to video they have, it works very well with no struggle.Reason why I took a one star is because the edges of the bottom part are sharp, I almost returned it but then I decided to just debur the edges and now it's perfect. I believe the manufacturer should fix that issue.I highly recommend it.
