The advertisement mentioned instructions that were not in either box; the original and the replacement. Plus, I have to drive 50 miles to a drop-off location to return. Bummer!! I wish I could rate it a zero or a -1

I picked up this two-pack of wireless lavalier mics for my phone because I needed something for recording some videos. First off, the setup was straightforward. Plugged the receiver into my phone, clipped the mics on, and I was good to go. No messing around with Bluetooth or apps, which I appreciated.Overall, I'm pretty happy with these mics. They're easy to use, sound good, and give me the freedom to move around without being tethered to my phone. For the price, they're a solid option for anyone who needs to record audio on their iPhone.

I got these for a future project that would have me taking videos in windy conditions. (Sailing.)With the wind cover on these are exactly what I was hoping for. Without the wind cover it is noisy and with just the iPhone alone (no mic) it is full of wind noise as well. But, with these microphones and the wind cover the audio was very clear and no significant wind sounds ruining the audio. These lose a star because the wind “sock” or cover easily falls off if you brush it against anything. My chin for example would knock off the wind cover. Then I’d need to redo the video take. One time the cover blew away and I had to hunt for it about 4 meters away. Some data:In a cluttered environment (walls, some metal, etc.) I lost the signal at about 14 meters away. Not bad and not a very realistic environment anyway. In clear view if I was facing away while pointing at and describing something, the audio was broken up at about 15 to 20 meters away depending a bit on my exact body position. Makes an educational video hard to do at that distance. If your subject is not facing you, the range is much shorter. In clear view while facing towards the camera with nothing in the way of the microphone I got very clear audio at about 40 meters away. It was breaking up pretty consistently by 50 meters. I could still understand myself at 60 meters and there was no connection with the iPhone by the time I was at 80 meters away.Summary on distance: If not facing the camera you are limited to about 20 meters. If facing the camera the clear sound is limited to about 40 meters. Really though, almost half a football field away isn’t too bad for inexpensive wireless mics.Tone quality. Using an audio generator at a few random frequencies starting at about 400 Hz the tone quality was quite good until about 8 kHz and acceptable at slightly over 9 kHz. At 14 kHz the mic was no longer responding.Charging: This microphone set comes in a very nice case. The case is also the charging station. As you can see in the photo, the level of charge is nicely displayed. The upward pointing arrow is animated when charge is going from the case into the microphones.Connecting to an iPhone. Absolutely effortless. Plug in the receiver to the USB-C port and the microphone automatically goes from flashing to a solid green and you are good to go. Takes less than a second!I would consider buying these again but plan to try rubber bands or something to make the wind cover stay on, which is my only complaint.

The PILSAMAS Wireless Lavalier Microphone for iPhone has exceeded my expectations in every way. As someone who regularly records videos and streams content, having a reliable microphone is essential, and this 2-pack set delivers outstanding performance. The sound quality is crisp and clear, thanks to its 48kHz and 32bit recording capabilities. I love how easy it was to connect the microphones to my iPhone. The USB-C compatibility makes it versatile, and the setup was truly plug-and-play, requiring no additional software. One of the most impressive features is the noise-canceling capability. I tested these microphones in a few noisy environments, and they did a great job of filtering out background sounds while keeping my voice clear and sharp. The 100ft wireless range is another bonus. Whether I’m recording a video outdoors or moving around during a livestream, I can count on uninterrupted, high-quality audio, without the hassle of tangled cords or staying tethered to my phone. The build quality is solid, and the design is sleek and lightweight. They clip securely onto clothing without feeling bulky or uncomfortable, making them ideal for longer recording sessions. Overall, the PILSAMAS Wireless Lavalier Microphone has become a vital part of my recording setup. Whether you're a content creator, podcaster, or just someone who needs reliable audio for calls or video recording, I highly recommend these microphones for their quality, ease of use, and excellent performance.
