I bought another one and it said it was for the brother 1034d but it didn't work for him, this one works for him and it's like the factory one

After much research I had come to the conclusion that this would work on my Brother 1634D. It works perfectly but you must remove the stitch finger in order for it to fit. With this plate you do not need the stitch finger as the needles on the plate take its place. I hope this helps someone else who is searching for a new needle plate. It also makes a nicer stitch than the original

It just like the original one on my Brother 1034D, fitted perfectly. Doesn't look flimsy. I tested it only for a couple of hours, so can't tell about durability. So far, looks good.
